Put this in your recipe file....

Soak 2 cups of beans in water over night in the fridge.
Use 1 Pork Butt roast...any size.

In the morning place roast in pot...I use a cast iron enamel.
Add garlic (whole cloves~I used 2 whole bulbs) to taste...
    chopped onions
    Salt Pepper Tarragon & Rosemary

Pour the beans and the water you soaked them in over the roast.
Put the lid on and cook in the oven on 275 - 300 all day until dinner.

Serve with a nice salad and some hot crusty bread.

Sounds like a crock pot/slow cooker type recipe. What kind of beans? In Texas we use pinto beans a lot.

You certainly could put it in the crock pot. I use both pots equally..the cast iron enamel and the crock pot.

I used great northern but I'm sure pintos would be just as delicious.

Yum. I'm going to try that in my crock pot.
