Dear saveaquilt - Thanks for this recipe. I have pretzels, too, and love chocolate covered pretzels. Will try these tomorrow.

Ooooh, Butterfingers are one of my favorite! And with just Wheat Thins and peanut butter? Couldn't get much easier. MANY thanks.

I have a recipe for Crockpot Chocolate
2 lbs. Chocolate Almond Bark 1 pkg. German Chocolate Bar 1 - 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips dry roasted peanuts (I used pecans) Place chocolates in crockpot as listed above and place nuts on top. Do not stir. Set crockpot on low and place lid on crockpot for 3 hours. Do not remove lid until end of 3 hours. Remove lid and stir to combine chocolates and nuts. Drop by teaspoons full onto wax paper or into candy cups (I purchased the candy cups at Michaels). Makes about 100 candy cups. |
A really easy twist to rice cripie treats. Instead of melting marshmellos, Cook a can of sweetened condensed milk til it turns to caramel sauce, then add rice cereal. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper, when hardened, dip into melted chocolate or bark.

Did you look at the recipe for White Trash? I think you might have the ingreients for that. I did the 2 ingredient fudge recipe from here but you need Betty Crocker frosting to go with Choc. chips.

I like to take some to my local library for the staff. etc etc etc. Fast, easy and so delicious! |
oops, I do put coconut on top b4 popping in oven, not after ... it toasts the coconut nicely if you do a heavier sprinkling of coconut than a light one.

One of my favorites is white candy bark with pistachios and craisins. Melt the bark, spread on wax paper, sprinkle with pistachios and craisins/raisins. Let harden, then break into pieces. You could easily sub pecans or pretzels if you have them.
