When my daughter was a baby and teething, I used to make her homemade banana teething biscuits. The best shape for her to grasp was my dog bone cookie cutter. I didn't quite realize just what that would look like till I noticed people in the mall glaring angrily at me after they watched her gnawing happily away. ;)
Cute story. And a side note: You could even enjoy one of these biscuts with your dogs. :) After all, they like MY cookies.

It's certainly true with chickadeee55's recipe, but somehow Ellen I don't think it usually works both ways. :P
On a dare, my kids and I once tried a teeny bite of Beggin Strips.... they DO NOT taste like bacon! :hunf:

Go on line and search Dog Treats and you will find a ton of recipes out there. I make treats for my dogs alot and will try this one also.
