Sorry, I missed the first part of this conversation......I do fix ribs and want to do some in my crockpot. Do I cook them on high or low for 4 hours? I've never done them this way before, but looks like a winner!

I put a rack of babyback ribs on a large sheet of parchment paper and put that on a large sheet of foil. I put my barbecue sauce on the ribs and wrap them like a package. I bake them at 300 degrees for about 4 to 5 hours. They are falling off the bone and the sauce has soaked into the ribs. I hate meat or anything to cook directly touching foil.

I just throw them in a crock pot with seasoning. About an hour before I want to eat them I drain the juice, add the BBQ sauce and keep cooking on Low. I really dont care for BBQ sauce so I may just have DH sauce his portion. Yum

Thanks! I will spread them out, cover with foil, get them cooking and then finish with the sauce the last 1/2 hour or so.

I marinate them overnight with rib rub and tequilla. Then I brown them in a little Crisco oil and place them in the Crockpot on low for about 4 hours or until tender. I take them out of the Crockpot when finished cooking and lightly cover with BBQ sauce.
