    Default Pumpkin Bread Recipe

    Pumpkin Bread

    In a large bowl combine:
    ½ c. oil
    1/3 c. water
    1 can pumpkin
    2 eggs
    1 ½ c. sugar

    Sift together:
    1 ½ c. flour
    ½ tsp. Baking powder
    1 tsp. Baking soda
    ½ tsp. Salt
    ½ tsp. Cloves
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    ½ tsp. Allspice
    ½ tsp. Nutmeg

    Add to large bowl. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan.

    350°
    30-45 minutes

    Thank you for the recipe. The only thing that is different in mine is that I substitute the oil with applesauce and I have never used Allspice but that may add a good flavor

    15 oz can of pumpkin

    Just double recipe for larger can.

    Now that is a recipe like I would write--straight to the point and get it baking. Thank you

    Thank you. Does this make one loaf? Guessing one by the amount of flour used. Will be making on Friday for give as gifts on Saturday!
