just a warning, it does not make a lot of muffins.it did not rise a lot, like a regular cake does.

Can you tell me what canned pumpkin is? Is it chunks or like puree, or something else. These muffins sound delicious but I'd want to make sure I was using the right ingredients.
    Thank you.

Thank you watterstide. I'll have to check out the supermarket for the cake mix. Only time I've used a packet mix was for a Mud Cake and that was almost 20 years ago. These muffins sound delicious. My DH makes great pumpkin scones.

    Thanks for the muffin recipe
This is my favorite time of year to buy Dunkin Donuts coffee - they have Pumpkin coffee for 2 months.
My family and friends all make an ugh face - but I love it.

Baskin Robbins does the seasonal pumpkin flavor and they had "pecan pie" ice cream! may have to swing by there today!

Thank you, Jaci. Looking forward to making soon with spiced cake mix.
I just made Sweet dinner rolls from allrecipes.com. I substituded 1 cup of whole wheat flour for 1 cup of all purpose flour. Also added 1 Tbsp. of vital wheat gluten to the 1 cup of wheat flour. Came out delicious. First time with making with wheat flour. I am very pleased!
