    Zesty Cheese Sausage dip
1 16 oz. pkg. hot pork sausage (bulk) (bob evans or jimmy dean)
16 oz. pkg velveeta, 1/2 c. diced sweet green and red pepper, 2 diced tomatoes, 1 can green chilies, drained.
Brown and drain sausage, melt velveeta on low on stove top or in microwave safe bowl. Then mix all ingredients together, serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

LOL, watch out if you bring anything in a crock pot! I made the little cocktail weiners in a crock pot, and of course they were on my light gray carpet in the car. Went around an icy corner, and guess what flew out, lol! What a mess! THEN, last week it happened to the girl at work, SAME recipe.....we laughed SO hard!

I think it would be awesome if we could have some photos of these dishes when you make them!

Thanks to all of you for your help. I wish they were having Pot Luck Day AFTER the holidays though! I hate the thought of just one more "chore" right now!! I am so far behind!!
I sure do appreciate the help from all of you... it all sounds great! : )

When I transport a crock pot I tape the lid with masking tape and set it in a box for security. A friend of mine had a mess with one years ago and I do not want that.

I just bought the new "Stay or Go" crockpot (6 qt). The lid has latches for transporting. The lid also has a rubber gasket so it does seal well.
Before I always used a plastic laundry basket with a couple of large towels. The towels did two things, kept it warm and kept it from sliding.
