    OK...so today I spent all day making up the cookies and soup mixes in jars...I just gotta say..these things are NOT cheap to make at all in this economy! I made 6 qt jars of chocolate chip cookies and figured it cost me $3.00 a jar to make...the bean soup cost me about the same!


    when they are done(decorated) I will take pix to post.

    I just seen a recipe phamphlet in the store for jar gifts although I did not check it out.

    check out this site...www.budget101.com...has the MOST amazing recipes...

    I am going to make up sealed bags of bean soup mixes to put in the pantry...that way anyone can open and toss into the crock pot!

    These are great gifts for an exchange present. I have a book called Gifts in a Jar. It is for cookies. Distributed by CQ products. 507 Industrial Street, Waverly, IA. 50677. So easy to do. I do hope you enjoy them.
