Hi Onalee, While we are at the north top of the panhandle, I am only at 2400 feet, (north of CDA) but didn't even think about that. I did end up maybe using a drop or 2 or 3 more water to get it all moistened. I tried not to overthink it....I do everything else.

Crockpot Apple Dump Cake
6 medium Granny Smiths, peeled and sliced thin
1/4 cup granulated sugar
q 1/2 t cinnamon, divided
1 box yellow (or spice) cake mix
1/2 cup oatmeal
Place apples in the bottom of the crock, sprinkle with sugar and 1/2 t of cinnamon. Stir oatmeal into cake mix with rest of cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples and cook on high 4 hours.
