    Hello Father's this is enjoylife 950 here that cake sounds really good iI bet you it would really taste even better with custard and whip topping sounds yummie

    I'm there! Custard, pudding and whip cream would all add another level of yummy to this cake. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try it. Here I was just eating it au naturale! :-)

    Oh yeah that sounds really good the cake alone sound very good and like a comfort food and adding the custard and whip topping make's it even better comming from a fat lady lol my doctor would put me back in the hospitol if I gain anymore weight because of congestive heart failure and copd and sleep apnia he would send back there another month in the hospitol to much weight gain would send me back :roll: :-(

    Wow, take care of yourself. All those health issues are serious. NO WHIP CREAM OR CUSTARD FOR YOU AND I. I'm also on a diet due to health issues. I've managed to lose 15 pounds but it comes off slowwwwwww. Good luck to you in your battle with the bulge. I'm with you in spirit.

    Feathers,

    Would you do a quick measurement of the pan that you used and post it for us? I can't seem to get a perspective on the size, even tho you were kind enough to post pictures! You mentioned something about a "half round bread pan". I think that is what's confusing me.......

    You know what this is going to sound funny but the length of that pan almost looks like the size of a drywall mud pan you can see them at the hardware store just look at those then compare them together when you look at the bread pan
    those kind of pans are not cheap either maybe not able to find in america huh those pans are good to have on hand.

    I am attaching pictures of the cake pans to give you some idea of their size. The pan on the far right in each of these pictures is a STANDARD bread pan...Dimensions are: 7 1/2 inch long,
    5 inches wide (scant 5 inches) and
    2 1/4 inches deep

    HALF ROUND Pan: 12 inch long,4 inches wide, 2inches deep
