I printed this recipe out and have been looking for a pan to bake it in.

In the meantime, I was at a church rummage sale today, one of my favorites because their bake sale is awesome, and what do I find - a Swedish Almond Cake!! I snatched it up and brought it home. It's really good. My husband can't stop having "a little bit more".

Oh! good, I'm glad you got to taste it to make sure you liked it before you made one yourself. As for the pan, just use a regular loaf bread pan. I did use a regular loaf bread pan but I doubled the recipe as the original recipe makes a small cake.

Feathers, I did not get to make this the other day, but plan to today for the super bowl crowd.
I just read all 3 pages and did not see the answer to my question (if I missed it, forgive me)....can you use skim milk? I like to use half 'n half, but do not have enough.

    Thanks!!!

Beachlady: That's what I used in my bread...skim milk. I'm sure the half and half or cream would be WONDERFUL and give a nicer crumb but we're dieting around here so skim milk is the best we have and it worked beautifully. Enjoy!
