Yes, Splenda measures one for one, same as sugar.

yes it does, I found it doesn't brown as nicely as sugar does in some recipes.

When baking with Splenda, you want get the same results as with sugar. If baking breads or cakes, you still need to use some sugar. Most times I will add no sugar added apple sauce, 1/2 to 1 cup. This helps a lot with the moistnes of the baked product. I've played with Splenda a lot to get the results I wanted.

Splenda also makes a product called "Splenda Blends" it is 50/50
blends of sugar and splenda to use in baking.

There is also "Splenda Blends Brown Sugar"

I have been using ALL three for years.

I use Splenda 1/1 ratio in my bread machine bread recipe all the time and 1/1 ratio in my blueberry pies. Actually I use it in most recipes. We like it.

Yes, I've used stevia....supposed to be natural extract from a plant. I don't cook/ bake with artificial sweeteners, only use the real thing, sugar, for that, so I don't know how it would work in that case. I only use stevia to sweetened my iced tea in summer.......hot tea gets honey or agave......
