    SUPER EASY FRUIT TURNOVERS

1 Can fruit pie filling ( apple, peach, etc.) Mash fruit with a fork
    Flour tortillas

Mash fruit with a fork. Sprinkle with cinnamon if you wish.
Soften tortillas in microwave for about 30 seconds.

Heat skillet on medium high heat and melt a tsp. of butter (or oil) in skillet. Lay tortilla in skillet and fill one side with about 1/4 cup fruit; fold over to make a half circle. Cook about 30 seconds or until golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Sprinkle with sugar if desired.

EACH TURNOVER REQUIRES 1 TORTILLA AND 1/4 CUP FRUIT FILLING.

They're almost as good as my mother used to make from scratch...but a lot quicker.

Ruth, I make Chicken Quesadillas with tortillas all the time, using chopped cooked chicken, salsa and Four Cheese Mexican shredded mix and cilantro. Sometimes I cook them on the George Foreman Grill. Yours will be more the Italian.........which I will try.

It was just some more of my experimenting when I discovered that the fruit was pretty good, too.
