Default The sweet & sour sauce made out of grape jelly and ketchup

Does anyone have the recipe for this sauce. Mom used to make it with sauteed kielbasi. Have also had it with little meatballs. Thanks for your help!

think my dear those are the ingredients. you use half of each. I used bbq sauce when I was much younger and grape jelly for the meatballs for cocktail parties. I think you should try sweet chili sauce myself. same flavor just pour it out of the jar and it is so wonderful for dipping things like bacon wrapped water chestnuts.

just went to allrecipes.com here is the recipe someone has posted .. lol you had the ingredients all ahttp://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Party-Kielbasa/Detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Thumb&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Home%20Pagelong

Back in the day, we used chili sauce and grape jelly. No real recipe, just a bottle of each.

Ditto the chili sauce and grape jelly recipe, just a bottle or jar of each, no real recipe. If you want to try something different, I recently discovered peach preserves and Dijon mustard....about equal parts. The sauce tastes like neither one but is soooo good!

The recipe that I have is: 32 oz. Grape Jelly
2 - 12 oz. jars Heinz Chili Sauce (not much different from Ketchup)
Mix together & add your favorite meat (meatballs etc.)

It also suggests that you can use Salsa sauce instead of Chili Sauce

Hope this helps. I got this recipe from the QB last year.

I just used this exact recipe to baste a Pork Loin, then baked for 2 hours @ 350 Talk about delicious. Everyone loved it!

Another good one is bottle of Sweet baby Ray's BBq sauce and a can of jellied cranberry sauce. It's very good with meatballs and little smokies.
