I wish you luck on your surgery. they told my hubby the surgrey went good, I however could not say the same with the amount of pain I have, just had my two wk post op, they told me my back should not be as swollen as it is, so I go back in four wks if nothing else happens, just call three days before I run out of pain meds. this makes no sence to me. just give me enough to last. that way someone dose not have to go pick them up every wk. now that I got that out of my system, thank you very much for the good wishes Penny

I understand completely! I'm coming home with a pain pump for the first 24 to 36 hours then switching to pills. I left the doc a message the other day that only said "pain meds, pain meds" pain meds". I hope you and I are both on the mend soon! I've heard that back surgery is a rough one! Be sure your hubby makes double batches of that fudge!

They were mad because they wanted me to stay a few days in the hospital, but I said I cant have surg if I have to stay. that was all the money we had, retierment cashed out everything gone. so I would not let them put a pump on, I have no insurance. so I suffer for it, but thats the way it gose. p.s. told my hubby you said to make double he laught. thanks again and good luck. Penny

    Penny,

Retirement isn't what it was cracked up to be! And it's not for sissies! I know what you are saying about insurance, GM cut my vision and dental as of Jan. 1 and raised my deductable way up. I had to pay all of the deductable before they would schedule a surgery date! The news people never interview those of us that would benefit from an insurance plan! Hang in there and let me know if hubby doesn't get you that fudge fast enough! I'll really put John to work making double batches and send ya some! I'll check in with you soon!
