    Hint...for the watermelon, while chilling it, put in a container with some crumpled foil or jar lids under the cut fruit. Watermelon will get "smushy" if let set in liquid for very long. Only add it to the mix at the last moment.

    In my fridge, I have a large bowl with a smaller plastic colander inside it so the watermelon can drain. It always comes out crisp this way.
