My husband loves my fruitcakes made from the Betty Crocker cookbook. The dark one. I double the candy and nuts and he loves it. Me too

I got one in home ec in highschool-1962. I have a later addition but I seem to go back and use the older one. It is shabby but Still count on it for the best recipes for pies.

Mine is from the '60's and the cover is held on with plastic packing tape. I treasure it. I got it when we got married. One of my favorite recipes is Cheeseburger Pie. There is also a good hamburger stroganoff in it. There are lots of good recipes in it.

Love the Betty C. Cookie book, wouldn't part with it. Have always used her recipes.
