I was wondering how to chew papers?!!! LOL I also like Mac and cheese with lots of basil in it. Love Basil!! Salt and pepper too. Jan

My go to dish is called "cowboy something"

I always have hamburger in the freezer --- I brown it.
Add onions and any kind of bean in the cupboard....kidney, garbanzo, white beans, lima -- whatever. At least 3 cans. And ALWAYS 2 cans of pork and beans. Then I add catsup, mustard and brown sugar. Heat through and serve. yummmmmm

Okay, I'm almost embarrassed to post this - my go to comfort food is: spaghetti (not anything but spaghetti) with a can of Contadina tomato sauce poured over it, straight from the can. Two ingredients. I love it and so does one of my sons. Other son and husband, not so much. This is not to be compared to "real" spaghetti sauce, which is, well, real.

I always have homemade chili in plastic containers in my freezer. I pour it over spaghetti, who cares that it has kidney beans in it!! we love it. Either spaghetti or a bowl of chili with toasted garlic bread.
    thanks for all the recipes.
