I make meatloaf all the time and I don't even like it. It's my husband and daughter's favorites. I usually make real baked mac & cheese with it. I also make a rolled up, cheese filled meatloaf that I like much better.

Tonight is ham, buttered potatoes, broccoli, and Sister Shubert's dinner rolls with peanutbutter chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

We're having carrot/meatball soup. I got the recipe from my Italian MIL a long time ago. It's basically chicken broth, a little bit of onion, sliced carrots, then add teeny tiny meatballs when the carrots start to get soft. (You simmer the carrots about 45 min, then simmer another 45 min after you add the meatballs.) You sprinkle with parmesan when you serve it. It's so cold here, and soup sounded good!

and I made banana bread today too, so we'll have that later

I hope to have hamburgers and fries. It will make the kids happy even though we just fry the hamburger patties in the pan on the stove.

Today is DH birthday so we are probably going out to a steak place. Last night was ham, mac & cheese & broccoli. Grandson was here and he loves mac & cheese, me, not so much.
