    Default Wrap It Up!

I love wraps...the food kind. You can use many things for a wrap and fill it with with almost anything. Some of my favorite wrap exteriors are:
    flour tortilla
    lavash
pizza dough rolled really thin and cooked on a cast iron pan
pasta dough rolled really thin and cooked on a cast iron pan
socca (more of a crepe really)
    rice paper
    collard leaf
    iceburg lettuce leaf
    swiss chard leaf

Some of my favorite wrap interiors are:
green salad (so much easier to eat in a wrap)
    tofu of any sort
    beans (and rice)
    seitan
    BBQ Jackfruit
    cream cheese (vegan)
    sour cream (vegan)
    chili
    avocado
    veggie scramble
grains s/a farro, cous cous, pearl barley
    hummus
    all sorts of veggies
    ground flax seed
    turmeric spiced foods
burger fixings (easier and less messy than a bun)
    grilled mushrooms
    smoked eggplant
    chili sauce

Geesh...the list could go on and on. How do you like your wraps?

I have not been crazy about wraps. I avoid them. But your list is great. Will print and save. Thanks

Love those wraps, they taste much better when someone else makes them, I think. We mostly make breakfast wraps with scrambled eggs, cheese, diced pepper and onion and crumbled sausage.

My favorite is an Apple wrap! Chopped tart Apple, shredded carrots, a tiny bit of finely sliced red onion, shredded cheddar cheese and a bit of honey mustard. Yummy!

Not really a wrap fan...not fond of flour tortillas- seem gummy to me - the only exception is lettuce wraps form California Pizza! Could eat those every day! May try to copy revise this summer.......anyone have it already?

I buy the “low carb” wraps. More fiber so net carbs is less, I guess. In our store’s bread aisle, not with the other wrap display.
