Oh my, I use my peeler many times a week for all sorts of things. This sounds delicious. I will get the oven going. Lots of apples in Michigan right now.

Yummy! Sometimes I even use apple butter for part of the oil. I will definitely be making this and using some apple butter I canned this summer. Thanks for sharing!

Thank You. My husband has been asking for an apple pie but I think I will suprise him with this. He can buy a apple pie at Sam's club.

Your recipe sounds great. I know this is silly, but I wonder how many calories would be in a normal slice? I have been counting everything due to losing some weight to help my diabetes, and some other medical problems.

I had to laugh at this; mine has never seen the light of day and at this moment I couldn't even tell you where it is in the house.
My DIL gave me one of those Pampered Chef apple peelers, didn't like it and found it was kind of sharp and got rusty.

I got an apple peeler from Amazon recently and love it. It works SO well even though it looks like a toy. It's called a Starfrit apple peeler.
