If This Quilt Could Talk- Scrap Quilt Finished!

Thank you all for all of the kind words & compliments! I truly appreciate it- I don't have any "quilty" friends who understand the effort involved in making one.
I did not use a pattern for this quilt. I saw something similar online & tried to figure it out on my own. These are the measurements I used
squares- cut 6 1/2" to finish at 6"
rectangles- cut 7"
star squares-cut 2 1/2" to finish at 2"
squares for star points- cut 2"
I made my rectangle units big so I had to cut them down to 6 1/2". That way was easier for me to get an accurate rectangle piece.
That Morningstar pattern from Quilters Cache sure looks like what I did- love that site!

I love the quilt you made. A real treasure. I have bunches of 10" squares that I got from swapping and have been looking off and on for a pattern for them. I think the Morning Star from quilters cache is the one. Their pattern calls for a 91/2" square which I could easily cut down from the 10" squares that I have.
