That's a very interesting quilt, Cindy. I'm having difficulty figuring out the blocks. Do you mind sharing where you found the pattern? I really think it's different. And, don't want to forget......

TooT....TooT.... another UFO out of the picture. Good for you.. Your finish encourages the rest of us to get some finished, too.

I did some clothing repair last night and took a small UFO and turned it into a denim rug for the mudroom. Good way to empty a small basket in the sewing room.

    5. Baby quilt. Due 5-11. Pieced to quilted.

    6. My quilt. Due 6-30 sandwiched and quilted

Also add 2 baby quilts I haven't even started and a wedding quilt due sometime in April. Ambitious! Or just plain stupid...

I am in! Thank you so much for this thread! I need the inspiration to finish those UFO's! Last year I was in the 2013 Challenge - I started 2013 with 13 UFO's - finished 3 king sized UFO quilts, plus 4 quilts that were not UFO's! This year, I want to continue on that line, but hopefully finish a lot more UFO's!

He loved it along with the t-shirt quilt. He says the Over and Under quilt will go with him everywhere. I told him he is gonna look like Linus carrying his blanket. He agreed. He has a niece who might try to take it from him.

The pattern is much easier than it looks. Take a strip of batik and black strips on each side, then sub cut. The pattern is called Over and Under designed by Paula Hughes from Quilt Country in Lewisville, TX. I know they have an online store. If you need me to pick you up a copy let me know.

This is one I will be making again.

I so do not want to list my UFOs and WIPS that I want to do. I am going to finish one project a month. To add to that then, I already finished two that needed the bindings done. So finished two, Oh pictures, ummm where did I put those. The Christmas one is from RedGarnet. I just had to quilt it and finally finished the binding. The other is from a boom swap I did. I kep this small for a baby quilt and used only the 30s shoe fabric I sent out. Each block has it in it. Now onto another one.

QM. love your quilts!!! Especially love the kitty in the basket on the sampler. I'm going to be trying to put together a sampler from a bunch of my orphan blocks sometime this year.

Thank you, I had fun making it. There are 17 different batiks in this quilt. and there are only 3 areas where the same fabric touches. I an surprised there weren't more.
