I usually give gifts of food. I go to Goodwill and pick up inexpensive Christmas plates and then pile on the goodies. My goodie plates are always very popular. I try something new every year, and generally have a list of old standbys to pair them with.

I'm not making fancy bags like some of the pictures, but I'm making "reduce/reuse/recycle" bags. We do stocking stuffers with my husband's family so this year, I'm putting the gifts in bags that can be used all year. I was also able to use some of my stash which I'm trying to reduce.

You would have to remind me! Goodness, it's all in my big empty head...great ideas. Can you get us all somemore time. Until I finish this Christmas stained glass for silent auction...the rest will have to wait. Maybe later, some placemats, a quick throw quilt or two using simple patterns and techniques...I really just want to enjoy the season with family and these wonderful board members. Remember to have joy in your heart!

I would rather be quilting, but I am knitting two shawls (big project). Also am making quilts for my 3 granddaughters. Made their handprints over the course of a year, and now in assembly mode.

done: two pillows, 4 out of 5 cross stitch pictures, 1 purse, and lots of ornaments. Left to do: two more pillows, some pillow cases. and the rest of 5th cross stitch. I'm also making a new Christmas wall hanging for my dinning area. I'm thinking I will get done.

Ditto!! I have a few projects too, along with everything I need. I think what I need most is to make a List (imagine that) to help me decide what I should be starting. I just keep putting it off!

I love your memory bags. I used my husbands ties and made roses which I applied to small "memory" pillows. Thank you for sharing.
