I might actually layer and pin RT today. Recently I pulled out my stack of 6 flimsy quilts and have been working my way through finishing them. What a project! This will be the second to last one in the stack so almost done.

I've started on my smaller geese in lighter pinks -- much happier with them. I finally decided on a border plan I liked, but unfortunately, because of the fabric wasted in the first batch of geese, I don't have enough of that fabric left, so not sure what I will do after the geese.

Mine is now officially a flimsy. I did roughly half size and it finished at 72 x 72. After all the handwringing over the suggested border, with only a few minor changes, I think it works well. I added some of the deeper red geese, put the white “sky” towards the center and changed the colors a bit on the corner blocks. I have the backing and batting already, so no reason not to get going on the quilting!

I can’t wait to see your quilted quilt. Your flimsy was lovely.
