FINALLY - it's okay to open this beautiful box that's been sitting in plain sight for-ever!
Thank you Chester the bunny for all the fun things. Did I say I love stationary? If not, it turns out you knew more than you let on because stationary is kind of a "thing" for me. I will definitely enjoy every note I write.
Every chunk of fabric is a perfect choice for me - you nailed my colours. Munching on sour candy as I write this, yum.
I can't believe everything fit into that box. I'd never get it back inside!
THANK YOU!!

Secret Santa really hurt her back toting this package. How did she know I make Charity Quilt of Valor Blocks? (I got a whole book of QOV block ideas!). That I loved pink (all my fabrics were yummy pink). That my kindle was going to get broken from my grand children (the elves made me a pink cover) That I needed replacement buttons for my winter sweater (I got cute sewing machine buttons). The list goes on and on (see pic), but she put a lot of personal thought in to it (her typed letter to me was the BEST Gift of ALL). Thank-you Santa.....Jane Quilter

My SS was kariboo She was very generous!
A couple favorites... I mentioned in this thread that I'd love to figure out how to make Almdudler (an Austrian drink) and she found and printed a recipe! My mint just got buried in snow this week, but if I can get a fresh sprig out of the snow, I'll have to try to make it this week.
I also want to make a bunch of baby quilts, so the book is perfect.
My dad has also mentioned giving me a bunch of his old shirts so I can use them for quilting. Not sure if I mentioned that on the board, but the magazine has a pattern for making a quilt using men's dress shirts. It's perfect! It shows you how to cut up the shirts and everything.
And the bag will get a ton of use. I like to travel and pack light, so always looking for the little bags that pack in their own "pocket". They are lightweight and take up so little room, but are very handy. I'm also always running out of hotpads in the kitchen because my son takes them, and I end up having to hunt them down.
So many things were just great for me! I love it all

ETA: she also sent a handmade card, somehow I didn't get that in the photo...

Well Barbara, (B Zang) there wasn't a pocket in that backpack that you didn't sneak a goody in!
Thank you so much for everything. Thought I was done until I couldn't figure out why the bag was still so heavy. A little mountain of scraps still in there. I love everything in the bag. Those savory rolls are new to me and the colors are such fun. You sent me creamy colored fabric which I LOVE and can never have enough of. As you can see one of the bags of chips is ummmm....opened and gone already. Looking forward to reading the book which could explain some of my behaviour at times )
You made my day!
