Awesome.. is that... a half square triangle I see making up the on point diamond squares? OMG THAT'S GENIUS!!! Also... well I haven't waded through 12 pages yet but I'm sure someone must have suggested this in there but if not here it is again.. Make or buy a bumper that you can stick on (and hopefully remove fairly cleanly if the need arises) and position it at the 1/4" spot on your machine, then when your fabric piece edges but up against it it should give you the 1 thread thickness less 1/4" seam that is so coveted. That's what I do.. and I love it. so fast and easy. n beginne, good job, and congrats on the Papa-hood. Congrats on being a male quilter. congrats on so many levels. Love the monkey.
