Thanks for the pattern and the tutorial. I followed your instructions and the quilt turned out fine!

I'm a few months later in seeing this but want to thank you for your clear tutorial. I, too, love Log Cabin quilts and this is a wonderful lay out. Your quilt is beautiful and I thank you for preparing and sharing. Love this QB!!! I have saved 2-5" squares of every item I had sewn (garments) for our daughter (since 1968); long before we knew about 'charm squares', and think this layout will be perfect for cutting those squares into 2 1/2" squares. I have a tone-on-tone white teddy bear print for the background cuz she's a bear lover. Since she will turn 50 next year, now is a good time to get it done.

Try copy and pasting to WORD (in Office). Highlight from top to bottom what you want to print. then right click on your mouse to COPY, then go to WORD to PASTE it.

I love JennR8R 2.5 squares log cabin quilt....Look for instruction to both right and left side....I will figure out how to reverse pattern, but not a word about it, that I have read here... so nice for her to share this idea....

Thanks for the awesome directions. I've been wanting a pattern to make with 2.5" pieces. I'm wanting to make something scrappy using one piece of everything from my stash and have a bolt of white fabric. Hugs to you!
