Janice, I have mailed them earlier. They did not say anything.

Our power has been restored! The hurricane has caused such devastation to our area as we took a direct hit. Originally the storm was forecasted to go much further west and we were to just receive large amounts of rain. We did receive over 20" of rain and the winds of a Cat 2 hurricane that was slow moving and took which seems forever to move on.

Our property damage was minimal, one of our oak trees pulled out of the ground and landed on a neighbors shed. This same neighbor had a tree come down on his house. Many other neighbors lost their roofs and almost all of their piers are destroyed. Another neighbor had their bedroom ceiling collapse. In the future several of our oak trees will need to be cut down as they have either shifted or are leaning . We are so thankful that we and others survived this disaster without any harm.

Now I want to read and catch up on everything posted here at QB.

Packages are on their way to everyone! Remember to count your F8s before you dump them all out to admire them. 19 for each of you. Everyone will be receiving two from one member because we were one member short but we sent the full Swap’s worth of F8s. Enjoy!

Cheese, so happy power is back on. Life can start to get back to normal, or as normal as 2020 will allow.

Cheese, what a photo! How scary to think that big tree was once flying. Glad you are back online and I hope the big cleanup isn't too bad.

I got a little jump start on the blocks last week. I have 2 complete and one that needs a tweaking. Here are MjpEncinitas’s and Libster’s blocks. Libster, I absolutely love the colors in your fabric. I hope the card trick block is to your liking. Mjp, since you will be adding something to each turtle block, I decided to go with a simple but classic Churn Dash. I hope it’s will work for you. Both blocks have cream on cream backgrounds.

And the fun begins! I so love seeing everyone's creativity and differences.

Janice, those 2 blocks are lovely. Mjp is adding to the blocks... I must have missed this ... But maybe it is noted in with the material? I'll be sure to double check. I'm guessing embroidery!

Cheese, oh my goodness. I can't imagine having such a storm linger above and around. Glad you had a guardian angle. Things can be replaced.

Beautiful blocks to get us rolling, Janice. I love both of those fabrics! And both of those shapes.

Seems like we have extra pretty fabric to work with this time.

Janice people think I’m strange when I tell them my favorite blocks are the classics like the ChurnDash. Both of your blocks are delightful

Cheesehead glad your power is restored but what a scary expierence and frightful picture. Was this your first hurricane? Hoping there won’t be any hurricanes in our future.
