Avatar Quilts

Where else can we watch such a beautiful quilt show in our jammies!!!!!!! My avatar is called Quick and Easy Irish Trip and it is from the book "Trip to Ireland" by Elizabeth Hamby Carlson. It is a combination of the Irish Chain and Trip Around the World. Made it for my daughter, Kim, in retro fabric and handquilted a diagonal grid. Her nephew Harrison's namesake is guarding it.

Hi, my avatar quilt is a French Braid, from the French Braid Quilts book. Here's a link to my post about it.

Mine is from an easy pattern sent with an ad for a quilting magazine. All it is is dark and light HSTs laid out in a pattern that I can't remember the name of. I got into trouble with Admin for trying to give someone the instructions, so that is my story. That's all I wrote.

My avatar is the quilt I made for my Grandfather's 90th birthday. It took longer to design than make, even though it was my first full-sized quilt and quilted by me. It has family photos, and the hatchet blocks are autograph blocks signed by family & friends. Grandpa was from Ohio, hence the Ohio star with the heart in it.
