She just recently put on a presentation for a local Quilt Guild on how to make the best use of your scraps to get the most out of your fabric dollar, and she used the Selvage Bag as one of her samples. The handles are from Moda Jelly Roll ties.
We are a Fabric Shop, and know about the cost of fabric, so she does what she can to help her customers get the most for their money.

I need to start saving my salvage. I will. When I have enough I will post and send to whoever responds first. Now to dig out of the trash what I just trimmed. Thanks for inspiring me to do something with it.

Amazing what quilters can come up with. I had a request once to save my selveges for someone who was making items to sell at our local quilt show. Had no idea what she made with them.
If my mom were still alive, she would be so proud of all of you. She constantly told us "waste not, want not". I will never throw away a selveage again. I love the bag idea.

My wife made one. I’m not sure what bag pattern that she used, but there are several that would work. She made blocks as she accumulated selvage edges, and made the bag when she had enough blocks assembled.

I have lots of selvages cut in WOF by 1.5" - 2.5" strips. A purse for fabric shopping or quilt shows. Wow, thank your wife for me, please. :-D
