OH-OH Glue problem I need help please

Joanns usually carries a iron cleaner which will help you remove the glue that adhered your your iron. I use goo gone or citra-solv to remove the glue from fabric like you cover. if that does not work I;d make a new cover with some pretty fabric and call it a happy mistake. We have all done this at one time or another, it is a very easy mistake to make. good luck!

I did the glue boo boo also so now when at the grocery store I ask for paper instead of plastic cut the bottom out of the bags open the seam and use them on my ironing board to save the cover. Works good.

I buy a yard of canvas, cut it to cover the width and a little wider than my ironing board width and whatever length I want. I keep that on so when I use starch or fusibles my Big Board cover stays clean. BB covers are $$$ to repace. Canvas works great and cheaper.

Thank you ALL very much!!
I have the small table ironing bard and the cover is tacked under.
I don't know what I was thinking, I had the huge roll of parchment paper beside me but in the video I watched, she was taking the paper off and used this one to cover the applique for ironing...so did I LOL, but that is where I mixed up the instructions I guess as the glue was under ON the ironing board and I don't know how I managed to get it on the iron also LOLOL
My table is at least half covered with glue so I will make a new one as for the iron I will try all of the above suggestions.
Thanks again!
