I put a piece under my foot pedal so it doesn't slide all over on my tile floor. I never thought of putting it under a ruler. Thanks for the tip!

I have a slide-lock ruler and LOVE it! It stays where you put it and saves your wrists from having to hold down the rulers so tightly.

I use the liner under my sewing machine and under the foot control on the floor. Keeps them both from walking around.

I use shelf liner under my thread stand to stop it from "walking" all over my sewing table.
