I didn't see the pattern for this here on the board, but, I just bought this pattern to make. I am so glad I saw yours before making mine! I love all of the colors you put into the twister tree. How fun! Also, I am going to have to check out that video. Gee, I am so glad you posted your pretty tree!

First, thanks to 'ladyinred' for posting the pattern! I thought this would take much longer to make then it actually did once I got started. All the colored fabrics were scraps.
For me, Jenny Doan's tutorial made all the difference for a successful twister project. Her suggestion of cutting and sewing one row at a time helped me. Also, for me, I identify each square in a row with a number - always in the same location within the square. By doing that I managed to ONLY have 4 twister squares that I had to reconnect.
