Thanks ladies! I talked to my longarmer - what a concept, huh? - and she has...wait for it....summerweight batting! I swear I’m only here to make my own life harder than it has to be. But Joann’s has Hobbs 80/20 on sale now, if that’s your batting of choice.

I agree with Evie - the quilt needs you to hand deliver!
I used 80/20 when I lived in Texas and always liked it (I never thought about mildew, but I think where I lived was less humid/rainy than what you are talking about). Not too heavy, nice drape/hand feel.
Will be looking forward to seeing the quilt that is going to Hawaii!!
