Selvages: don't throw them away!

Some really neat ideas as to what to do with the selvages. I do save mine and use them for ties when I need to secure a box or bag but that doesn't use many. Also use them in my garden to tie tomato plants to a stake. Now you've given me more ideas.

After seeing my first selvage quilt in a show I became addicted to saving them. I now have several large bags waiting to be used. I've already made a lap quilt and a few table toppers. Unfortunately I don't know how to post pictures Here are two articles I have bookmarked, one just a picture and the other a delightful thread right here on the Quilting Board, posted by Lynnie25.
