What a striking quilt! Your choices of fabrics and quilt designs work perfectly together! Wonderful gift!
looking back at your post, is this actually two matching quilts ?

Thimblebug, looking at the quilting, I believe it to be the back of her Hunter Star top, so all one quilt. Correct me if I’m wrong though, Snooze.

I showed the front and back of the quilt. There are 2 identical quilts though. Sometimes you can see the quilting better from the back side than the front if the fabric is too busy.

Thimblebug, I was showing both sides of the quilt as sometimes you can see the quilting better from the back side if using busy fabrics.

This was my 1st time trying this hunter star pattern. Used Deb Tucker's rulers.

Also still using only from my stash since late 2018 though this one was made in 2018 or 2019. Should have been finished in 2019 but I was having shoulder issues and finally had rotor cuff surgery in late January 2020 or was it 2019 when the pandemic started? Can't remember now a sit seems like forever.

QuiltBear, what robotic system do you have? I started out with PCQ, moved up to MQR and finally when customer support went south on us I had to find another system and wanted one similar to what I was used to............went with IQ and haven't looked back. I learn something new with every quilt I stitch out using it.

Snooze, I have a Nolting machine with an original QBOT. It works fine for me as I just do edge to edge. The lady I bought my Nolting from was an IQ dealer. She died last year and I really miss her.

Quiltbear, I've never been a fan of E2E but I will take an E2E pattern and make it into a block pattern. I just happen to like custom quilting to see what I can come up with. I also like taking a pattern.....slicing and dicing and putting it back together to fit a block. I don't create patterns as I'm not good enough or patient enough for that but taking someone else's hard work and making it my own I can do but I still give credit to the creator.

Just amazing quilt and quilting. Love the idea of the green in the outer edge to frame it. Just gorgeous.
