Gee, when I looked at the before picture I thought that's nice. But the after picture is beautiful. What a transformation. You did it yourself? Wow! Impressive.

Since you are so close...sioux City is only 90 miles away...when you are done do you want to do mine?? LOL. We can grab a few other members that are close and do coffee/shopping!!

i live about 45 miles south east of sioux city it is about 65 miles to council bluffs i have friends i go to see there and i go there to not joanns the other fabric stor i plan on a trip in june for my bday maby a bunch of us can get together and all come at once

How did you get the paint to adhere on the cabinets? I painted mine and when dry the paint would peel off easy. I had to have the cabinets re sanded and primed and then painted for the paint to adhere and not scratch. Apparently a good scrubbing doesn't count when painting over finished wood. You sure did a great job!

i used stron sulotion to clean than did a light sanding and used a paint call kills best stuff i ever used for a one coat paint it has the primeer in it there are other paints you can get now that have primer in them but you will still have to do atleast a light sanding to rough up the surface
