Hijacking/hacking into your computer
#12
My son is a very knowledgeable computer geek. He attends seminars, classes on computer security. He has taken college classes in "ethical hacking" etc. He is working on the last year of his bachelors in computer networking and security. He already has all the coursework done for his doctorate and is halfway done with his masters work...backwards I know.
The stories he tells me would make your hair stand on end. Your computer is always vulnerable and you should take every precaution you can to make it safe.
If you go online without a virus protector, the time from sign on to when you have a virus is less than three seconds.
Unfortunately everytime he goes to a new seminar, he hears new ways that unethical hackers have devised to get in our computers.
Be as careful as you can, but like pookie ookie says, safety is an illusion.
