    Wow, what a great quilt. I would make a lap quilt out of it, or maybe a wallhanging. It's gorgeous!

    To answer your question, I usually find that my fabric starts me thinking before a design does.

    Right now it would make a great table topper. Making it bigger would not be too hard, and you could have a nice throw size quilt. It you decide to go larger, maybe some red in the next row?

    Wow, that is beautiful. If you want to make it larger, I would add 3 borders, starting with a med. inner border, a light middle border and a dark outer border that would frame it - it is a piece of art.

    I design on graph paper after selecting a few fabrics and I may add an additional fabric or two along the way of the design process. Your work is fabulous and I hope you will post the final quilt.

    Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm back at it this morning; will be adding a bit more to make it a good-sized lap quilt, and will post again when the top is done, hopefully later today. ;-)

    I'm even actually using up a bit of my stash on this one!!!
