yea, now I feel bad I didn't get one when they were selling for $400 last year. There have been very few listed in the last 6 months, so the few coming up recently have gone way higher than I figured they would. I've not gotten to the point that I want one "no matter the price".

Along with the "penguin foot", I don't have a set of guide feet, or the back stitching braid attachment foot.

The penguins are cute. I just don't see $600 cute.

I'd buy the New Companion because of the price and getting a NH treadle base, but that White is REALLY NICE!

Rodney, your sincere apologies did NOT work! I am will be picking up the New Companion tomorrow afternoon. And perhaps an elderly Kenmore in a cabinet also. Saw your PM after I talked to the seller. Will call you later this evening.

Ok... so imagine yourself believing that you could get $1200 for something, so you decide that you are going to advertise it, but then for some reason decide not to actually show a picture of it.... here is someone who did just that.... http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/atq/4634937525.html

and Now we have to start researching this new "Seamstress brand" sewing machine company... LOL

Is it possible for you to scan the manual as PDFs and Email it to me? The seller of the New Companion looked through the cabinet drawers and alas no manual but lot's of goodies in the drawers.
