March 2016 mug rug swap -- in honor of garden month
#202
I had sad news from my swap partner, tlambing. She did receive my box yesterday. But just the box, that is... I wonder what happened to the mug rug and the goodies (Swiss chocolate...)! Tlambing, I'm so, so sorry! I had the lady at the post office help me tape the box close - guess I should not have trusted anyone else to do that but insisted on doing it myself (with tape three times round the box!)! Looks like she did not do the job good enough as the box opened up...
Tlambing asked me to post a picture of what I sent her:

I know looking at a picture of what one should have gotten is only a small comfort... She graciously said not to worry about any replacement. I would love to replace it, but as I explained to her in a PM, due to my current situation (I'm in the middle of moving and won't have a place to call my own for a few months), I can't at the moment... Tlambing, I'm really sorry that you didn't get my mug rug!

Oh it's beautiful! I just love the flowers! Beautiful job. I will do as you suggested and send the picture with my lost and found report to the post office. Who knows....it's worth a try.
take care and happy moving.

Oh, my gosh! I am so terribly sorry to hear this, Teresa! It's a beautiful mug rug & all the goodies are wonderful, too! I know you feel very badly about his -- as does Monale. But it's no one's fault. Still ...

Good luck trying to find what happened to the package. If it opened & the contents slipped out, who knows where they are now. But check with the post office anyway; they might have some advice. I really feel so badly about this. It really shouldn't happen to anyone; such a disappointment.

How's everyone doing these days? Remember, you still have time to sign up for the April Mug Rug Swap. It should be another fun month of mug rugs! C'mon & join us!

I am soooo sorry I forgot (not intentionally) to post that I received my mug rug from Carolinepaj on Wednesday. I was helping my son move this week and I have totally lost all track of time!! Whew, glad it's over tho. I love it, and all the goodies, chocolate is gone gone..lolo The buttons are just too cute and the Downton Abbey fabric is really neat. Thanks so much Caroline, it was a pleasure doing this swap with you.
Pam, I will try to join in May's swap.
