I have searched and searched for my phone....just to realize I'm TALKING ON IT! GRRR!

When anything goes that missing - I usually check Money's bed - she is like my little blackbird - everything ends up in her bed

well, at least it was a stocking!

When she called me to cry on my shoulder, I was a blubbering mess of laughter...poor dear...with a mother like that!

I'm wondering where a 5 lb. bag of flour is, right now...maybe I'll look in my fridge!

Sorry . . . but this makes me feel better. I had cut backing pieces for a king size handpieced quilt a couple of years ago. It was on the table WAITING to be sewn so I could finish the quilt. We were having hardwood put down and I had anticipate the workers starting in another room. They decided they needed to start in the room where the backing was. I remember saying, "Oh, I'll just put it in here . . . everything will have to be cleaned out anyway." To this day, we have never see the pink fabric again. Every closet and every drawer in my house was emptied and cleaned. It is as though it vanished . . . I had bought the cutest print for the backing and still haven't finished the quilt . . . don't have enough of the fabric left to cut more and can't stand the thoughts of using anything else. But it helps to know that I am not the only one that has stuff disappear! LOL
