Retiredteach-that quilt is phenomenal! I hope whomever gets it appreciates the masterwork.
Love the mellow yellow.
Jennie Doan/ missouri star just published a "new" method for Lemoyne stars that just looks darling. I have some self-made 5" charms that I'm going to try the technique on tomorrow. I may have found my next scrappy quilt.

Well, I have to buckle down and get busy using what I have purchased of late. I took advantage of Connecting Threads clearance sale with an extra 20% off, making the fabric about $4 a yard, got some blenders to add to what has been dwindling, 10 yds of one, 6 yds of 2 others. One is a soft daffodil yellow that will spice up things a bit. Yesterday my friends came over to take me to lunch and pay off our trip money. We went to a store that has great prices on all their fabric. I got backing for my Lancaster collection, the whole bolt of 10 yds for $8.29 a yard, pretty much unheard of for Moda fabric anywhere around here. Everything i have gotten will get used at some point in the near future.
Ladies, all your quilts are very nice. And that kiddie wall hanging is adorable.

Wow! I love all those strip and stash fabric quilts, especially the blue one (my favourite colour). I just posted pics of three I've finished from stash on the UFO thread. And I've already used 4 yards of the tea-dyed muslin I purchased last week. So far I've used (or given away) about 26 yards of fabric from stash in 2020, and used 4 sheets from my backing stash. My goal is to end up emptying the equivalent of one shelving unit by the end of the year. I figure that will be around 200 yards.
