Crhistmas tree skirt
#21
I love this board! It isn't even Christmas and look what we came up with - and to think that last year I, too, was scratching looking for a pattern. I made a list of the suggestions here for this year!!

There's a gorgeous Log Cabin Star tree skirt done by Anica of New Jersey last year. This is the info she wrote when someone asked her for the pattern. I don't know how to put the link here, but pull up search, & enter Log Cabin Star tree skirt. It's fabulous!!
"The pattern is from an Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day Book entitled, "Diamond Log Cabin" table cloth or tree skirt. It's a very easy pattern that makes up fairly quickly. This one only has 3 darks and 3 lights. I've made several with only the 3 lights and 3 darks and they fit the trees wonderfully. The pattern from Ms. Burns instructs you to use 4 light and 4 dark and makes quite a large tree skirt. I made one with 4 of each color for my 12' tree and it looks great. Good luck and post a picture when you've finished."
