I love Connecting Threads. Have never been disappointed with anything. A few weeks ago thet had clearance fabric ar $3.00 a yard and I purchased six yards each of different fabric for backing.

Thinks for asking this question. I have been looking for an online shop to buy thread.

I buy a lot of my fabric from them since it is 50 miles one way to my nearest fabric store. I have never had a problem with service or quality.

They also have adorable kits and their service is impecable. I like that when ordering books, you can actually look inside and see what you are getting BEFORE buying. They often have 40% sales on books and notions plus sales on their fabric. Give them a try. I think you will like them.

I love CT! I order thread from them often, lately I have been ordering their fabric. If you look in their clearance section under kits, they have some of their fabric line samplers on sale. They are well priced and a good way to get to know their fabric quality. A couple of months ago, I got 25 fat eights for eight dollars and change. You can see some of that material in my charity quilt at the following"

The table runner at the above site is one of their kits I got on clearance. The batiks were very nice and I had lots of fabric left over!
    I love CT!

Unlike everyone else, I had a really bad experience with them. I placed an order for batiks for a bargello wall hanging. The pattern called for 20 colors plus a border, plus backing. The 20 colors needed to be 1/4 yard, however, you can only order in 1/2 yards. It actually turned out to be a good thing because every piece was cut crooked and buy the time I straightened them out, I had lost anywhere from 1/2" to 2 1/2" of the fabric. My border fabric (1 1/2 yards) had a 1/2" seam 14" from one end. They did replace that at now charge however. Also, a lot of the fabric had chocolate candy marks on it. Good luck with whatever you buy, but if you do order fabric, check it over carefully as soon as you get it.

I love their thread for piecing. But my machine doesn't like it for FMQ. It breaks too often. But for piecing it is perfect and inexpensive.
