Yep gotta love the back to school sales, so many different things one can get for the sewing room at a very reduced price.
My kids are all grown and I used to buy for the Granddaughters now all they want is something Oma has sewn them. So that is cool, I enjoy making garments for them (as long as they will wear them!LOL).

My quilt guild puts together backpacks filled with supplies for children whose parents can't afford the supplies. I took a trip to Walmart yesterday and bought a number of things. The prices were very good. I even bought myself the washable Crayola markers.

I can hardly believe we are halfway through July and already talking about BTS sales. Definitely means Halloween will start in Aug!

I am a retired teacher and school counselor. I miss the B_T_S so I try to buy to supply items for needy kids. I simply love new crayons!

What's not to love about new crayons?? I buy the crayons still for my kids - all of whom are in their 20s. Coloring is till done at my house on occasion by all but DH.
I love the BTS sales for the pens & pen sets one can buy. I admit I hoard pens, in colors, just like I hoard fabric.

I always shop at Walmart for just about everything. Here as soon as 4th of July is over the school supplies come out. Most of our schools in the suburbs start in less than a month. I guess it is time to put them out for school.
I will be looking them over this Friday.
Our Walmart sells fabrics, just hard to find someone to cut it.

The schools in Chula Vista start on 7/22. There are other schools in the county that are still on the traditional schedule, so the stores in those areas hold their sales next month.

Yep and I got bottles of washable school glue at Staples for 10cents each. It's Staples brand so I hope it works as well.
