Doing a block exchange sounds like fun....good idea!!

I have a friend who did this quilt. It was above my pay grade! She had the newer book and took a class. She worked consistently one it and finished a handful a week throughout the spring and summer months. I admired her skill and "stick to it" attitude. It is lovely! She finished it and had it quilted for a local quilt show and has never mentioned it since! It is tucked away on her shelf in her sewing room. Someday one of her daughters will inherit it and have no idea of thee hours of labor, fine skills and hard work that went into it!
