Color for 2017
#21
Pantone standardizes colors for certain industries, but their color of the year is only one of many opinions. Pantone gets some people into a room and decides what the color trends might be. Sometimes they're right sometimes they're wrong. I don't think last year's Pantone colors of the year really caught on, so they're definitely not always right..

IMO, that's why there never caught on.

why do people have to wit for what's new. I go my own way, never jumped on the color of the year.
I'm not into doing what everyone else is doing. I'm not in the box with everyone else. My dh says i'm so far out of the box, i'm around the corner in an octagon.

I have used purples in scrap quilts but have never made a purple quilt. Well, guess what, I have been working on 2 different purple/lavender quilts for the last 2 weeks. One is ready for the blocks to be set. Then I want to make a green quilt. I made one but gave it to my granddaughter since it is her favorite color.
