    Love your beautiful quilt. I made Emily’s wedding quilt the year Liz created the pattern for her daughter. Wow that was a long time ago. I made mine in 1940 reproduction fabric for my friend. I thought I had a picture but can’t find it. Oh and hers was a king size bed quilt too.

    I love the border fabric. I chuckled when you said you had fat quarters left over because that is how I ended up with so much fabric scraps and fat quarters. I have been quilting for 40 years and I can't remember how items I have quilted. I would buy the required amount of fabric, make a sample block and realize that 1 or 2 of the fabrics just didn't work, so back to the fabric store for more fabric.
